Highlights at this year's show will be a number of new megapixel varifocal lenses for day/night as well as new high-resolution telezoom lenses for long range surveillance applications in High Definition.

HD zoom lenses

At IFSEC two 2-megapixel telezoom lenses will be introduced:

The D60x16.7SR4DE lens series features 2 megapixel resolution and 60x optical zoom. The lenses are designed for 1/1.8" sensors (or smaller) and cover a focal length range of
f = 16.7~1000mm. Thanks to the build-in 2x extender the focal length can be doubled and reaches up to a maximum focal length of f=2000 mm.
Equipped with Fujinon's"Day&Night technology" surveillance with sharp and high-quality images by day and night is possible without focus shift when switching between day and night mode. Additional models offering optical image stabilisation, autofocus function and PC control via RS232C interface will be available later this year.

The HC16x100R2CE-F11 is the latest high end model to the Fujinon CCTV mega pixel product range. This lens features the same optical and mechanical quality similar to Fujinon HD broadcast lenses used by TV stations worldwide. The HC16x100 is designed for light sensitive c-mount cameras with sensors sizes up to 1". The focal length of 100 to 1600mm can be doubled by a built-in 2x extender to a maximum focal length of 3200mm. Despite the long focal length the HC16x100 features a fast Fstop of 3.4. The lens is equipped with Fujinon's "Day&Night technology".

HD varifocal lenses

The continuously growing range of megapixel varifocal lenses will be shown as well. Besides the existing models for 1/2" and 1/3" covering focal lengths from wide end to tele, three new models for day/night will be launched at IFSEC: YV2.7x2.2SR4A (f=2.2~6mm) and YV2.8x2.8SR4A (f=2.8~8mm) for a maximum sensor size of 1/2.7" and the DV3.8x4SR4A (f=4~15.2mm) for 1/1.8" sensors. Thanks to high resolution and IR correction these lenses are best suited for HD CCTV applications to ensure security around the clock.

360° overview

Another highlight will be the 360° panomorph lens YF360A-SA2. The panomorph design enables a full 360° blind spot free view while using almost the full sensor area. In combination with an ImmerVision Enables software the lens offers the full functionality of a 360° immersive view, both live and playback. The YF360A-2/SA2 can be used with a wide range of standard 1/3" CS-mount cameras of 2 megapixel resolutions down to VGA.
